Welsh & Welsh Law Firm Scholarship

Welsh & Welsh, a personal injury firm in Omaha, Nebraska, is pleased to announce that we are offering a once-yearly $1,000 scholarship to students who are currently attending or planning to attend their first year of college or graduate school in the upcoming semester. We understand the difficulties college students face financially and feel that by providing students with this opportunity, we can help them pave the way towards a brighter future.

We first started the scholarship in Fall 2017 and were humbled by its success. We’ve decided to continue it for 2018 and beyond.

The current open submission period is for Fall 2018.
Applications are due by Sunday, July 15, 2018.

The next open submission period will be for Fall 2019.

At The Law Office of Mike Campbell, we feel it’s vital to help our next generation of entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals pave the way toward a bright future. A college education gives students the chance to study their field of interest that will help them with their careers later in life. However, money is often a major obstacle for most students. Whether it’s paying for tuition, room and board, or even textbooks, the price can deter people from pursuing higher education. At DBD Law, we believe that money shouldn’t get in the way of one’s educational career.

We’re offering a $1000 scholarship once a year to students who are in their first year or plan to start college or graduate school. We believe that helping our students now will give them the opportunity to create a better world for all of us.

How can we, as a society, encourage drivers to prioritize safety when behind the wheel?

Car accidents, truck accidents, and other types of motorized vehicle accidents are all too common on U.S. highways. We all know someone who has been in a serious car crash or have experienced a devastating wreck ourselves. Traffic laws, posted signs, and highway officials do a fair job of encouraging drivers to follow the rules of traffic and keep themselves and others safe, but every day we see drivers breaking laws and taking lives into their own hands. How can we, as a society, better stress the importance of driving safely and ensure we all do our part to avoid accidents?

Once the application period closes, Urban & Taylor will choose a winner based on the feasibility and creativity of each essay as well as the applicant’s level of knowledge in the topic and the student’s ability to create a well-crafted essay. 2017 JOYE LAW FIRM SCHOLARSHIP

Joye Law Firm is offering you the opportunity to win a college scholarship to help further your education. Our firm will offer six $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in South Carolina who plan to attend a four-year institution of higher learning in the fall. Selection of the recipients is based on the creative entry, school activities, positions of leadership, special honors and awards, community involvement, academic performance, and professional pursuits.

2017 Scholarship Packet

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants are required to submit the following materials along with their online application form:

  1. A current high school transcript; and
  2. A creative entry that warns of the dangers of drunk driving and/or distracted driving.

Entries may include, but are not limited to, an essay, poem, painting, poster, video, audio recording, web page or other creative entry. The more creative, the better. Essays should be limited to 600 words. Video/audio recordings should be limited to two minutes. All creative entries must be uploaded along with the rest of your application.  Entries will not be returned to the applicant.

Deadline of Submission of Application: April 1st, 2017

HOW TO WIN

Our selection committee will review your packet with a particular focus on your creative entry along with your community involvement.  We intend to “publish” the six winning creative entries and disseminate them to leaders throughout South Carolina. Each scholarship recipient will be notified at your respective school’s year-end awards ceremony.
