  • Northeast Animal Hospital and Pets In The City, our two veterinary practices in St. Petersburg, Florida, are pleased to offer the Veterinary Science Scholarship. This Scholarship is available in the United States to college students attending the fall semester of 2017. Any student who meets the requirements outlined below and who can demonstrate his or her interest in pursuing a career in veterinary science will be considered.
  • This Scholarship will be presented to a college student who is enrolled by the fall semester of 2017, but will not have graduated by the fall semester of 2017, and is still attending courses at that time. Although the Scholarship will be presented to an enrolled college student, high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall semester of 2017 are also welcome to apply.
    This Scholarship will be judged and awarded primarily on both merit and need. Academic achievements, as well as any leadership experiences, will be taken into account. This will be a one-time award.
Completed application must be submitted online by July 31, 2017. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree related to veterinary science within the United States.
  • Applicant must plan to attend college by the fall semester of 2017.
  • Applicant must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
  • A transcript must be attached to application for consideration.
  • Applicant must submit an un-opened copy of official transcripts if selected as a finalist.
  • This scholarship is a one-time award worth $500 to be awarded the fall semester of 2017.
  • Although not required, applicant is encouraged to submit letters of recommendation and/or resumes that substantiate his or her application.
  • Applicant will be required to demonstrate his or her merit and need for this scholarship.
