I work as a sales associate which involves me interacting with my co-workers, customers, and my management. My tasks include preparing the products in a timely manner to give to the customers.
A program that raises awareness about the homeless in the community by raising donations and sleeping outside all night in cardboard. I was in charge of leading a small group of students while making care packages, and I also supervised the distribution of those packages.
A project where my school collected food to combat food insecurity in the area. I visited North Carolina’s Agricultural and Technical State University’s student co-op where I planted produce and distributed them to the community. I also visited a elementary school located in a food desert and educated them on good nutrition.
I volunteer for the Foundation for FIghting Blindness' Vision Walk which fundraisers money to go towards degenerative eye disease research.
I am one of the presidents for the College Planning Cohort Leadership Board. My tasks include preparing for meetings and assisting my peers in their learning experience throughout their time in the cohort.
I serve as the president for my school's service learning ambassadors club. I am in charge of planning our service projects, coordinating fundraisers, and communicating with advisors and community members to complete service projects.
I created and lead the education ministry at my church. This program provides academic support and guidance to the youth of the church through the college planning cohort and extra curricular activities.

I planned the first county wide High School Heart Chase at my school which promotes youth heart health. I was in charge of the creative and logistical aspects of the event from creating the games to communicating with the school administration and our America Heart Association partners. I also brought in local, state, and national businesses to sponsor this event.
I participate on the student advisory council for my county's superintendent. I provide insight of the needs of my school to the members of the school board and the superintendent personally. I also work on county wide service projects for the school system.
I act as an ambassador for a new start up company, Chroma Up, which provides highschool students with guidance and tips for getting into college.
I act as an ambassador for the National Conference for Community and Justice. My job is to help the organization promote equality and social justice through teaching ANYDAY programs at schools across the county.
College LAUNCH is a nine-month college preparatory program, at Wake Forest, which focuses on social justice and leadership development.
I was given this award for my completion of the General Tommy Franks' Four Star Leadership Program in which 70 of the top students in America were brought to Oklahoma City for a 5-day summit on leadership development.
I was granted membership into my school's chapter of the National Honor's Society for my academic success and community and school based involvement.
I received this diploma for having exceeded 250 service learning hours.
I was recognized as Student of the Quarter for my academic achievements.
