While access to competent college planning guidance can cost thousands of dollars, our foundation has worked diligently to offer affordable college planning guidance and support to any student or family. Amy Fontinelle, in her blog posting, “College admissions counselors: Weighing the price,” notes:
Many providers offer transparent pricing right on their websites. Others don’t, preferring to engage first. Prices can range from roughly $250 for a one-hour meeting to several thousand dollars for a package offering unlimited assistance for 11th and 12th graders. The IECA reported that the mean college advising package fee in 2018 ranged from $850 to $10,000, with average packages in the $4,000-$6,000 range.1
Our goal is to provide research-based high quality college planning guidance and information for students and families, many of whom are the first in their family to attend college. In this regard, our pricing is designed to support the work of our foundation, while allowing students and families to choose their best investment. Our print materials are priced as low as $5.95 for our college planning quick guides, to $499.95 to register for our year-long college planning cohort program.
Since all of our programs are priced in $100 increments, you may purchase installments to pay for a specific program, such as our boot camps and writing workshops, or to pay for a 1-hour virtual session during which we will attempt to answer any questions.
Please note that your student will receive their login credentials to access our online curriculum within 48 hours after the final installment payment has been processed.
