Harvard Leads the Way...
Parents who already have children in college and students with older siblings or relatives who have gone to college will have
a clear advantage over students who are the first in their family to attend college. Students from private schools, where
counselors have smaller student-counselor ratios, will have an advantage over public school students where counselors are
responsible for working with several hundred students. Despite such advantages or disadvantages, every student will benefit
from a plan and every parent will benefit from developing college preparations to reduce the stress and increase the joy of
a student's four years of high school.
